Halloween is right around the corner, and San Francisco 49ers star Nick Bosa is showing fans a different side of himself. His girlfriend, Ella Ailiff, posted a video on Tuesday morning revealing their costumes for the holiday. The couple dressed up as characters from the Nickelodeon cartoon “Fairly OddParents.” Bosa wore the outfit of the Crimson Chin, while Ailiff suited up as Cleft the Boy Chin Wonder.

Before the couple showed the full look, Ailiff posted a solo video on Monday night dressed as Cleft. She added a caption that read, according to the New York Post, “You either get me or you don’t.” The post also included a photo of the show’s main character, Timmy Turner, wearing the same costume. This fun moment comes as the team deals with a serious issue: Bosa has been out of action since September 25 due to a calf injury.

Fans Have One Big Request

While the posts got lots of likes, the comments section told a different story. Fans were less interested in the costumes and more worried about the team’s defense. One user named @Pizzzzatime left a comment that summed up the mood perfectly. They wrote, “can you tell Bosa to pls play football again? we miss him. thank you pretty please!” It is a simple request, but it highlights how much the team needs him back on the field.

The 49ers are currently in their bye week after losing to the Falcons on Sunday. This break gives the star defensive end extra time to heal his leg. He has missed a lot of games in the last two seasons, including a torn ACL that kept him out for most of last year. The team is 6-1, so they can afford to wait, but his presence changes how opponents play.

Return Timeline Looks Promising

General manager John Lynch offered some good news on Tuesday morning during an appearance on KNBR. He said Bosa is tracking well to return for the game against the Las Vegas Raiders on November 8. Lynch explained the process ahead of the return. “He has got to go through the week of practice. He is tracking well to be back. The goal is to have him back and keep him back because he is a difference-maker when he’s on the field,” Lynch said, according to the New York Post.

The team also made a trade on Tuesday to help the pass rush while Bosa rests. They brought back DeForest Buckner from the Indianapolis Colts. This move shows the front office is not panicking about the injury. They know the 49ers need Bosa for the long haul, especially with a deep playoff run in mind. The trade deadline is approaching on November 10, and the team might make more moves to fix other injury issues.

Team Spirit Stays High

Even with the injury worries, the team is enjoying the time off. Players and their families were guests at the annual Halloween party hosted by quarterback Brock Purdy and his wife Jenna. Purdy wore a Sully costume from “Monsters, Inc.” Other players joined in with outfits like Austin Powers and Chucky.

The 49ers are leading the NFC West, but injuries are hitting every team this season. Managing the health of key players like Bosa is now the top priority for the coaching staff. Fans will get their wish soon if the plan holds up. The team faces the Raiders next, and that is the target date for Bosa’s return.
